Adrianna - 22" White Winter Princess Mohair Bear

My annual winter princess is made from a dense curly candlewhite mohair with matching 100% wool felt for her paw pads which are shaded and have pulled toes. She has highly realistic glass eyes that I created from highly domed cabochons so they seem to follow you from all angles. I did wool needle-felting around her eyes to have a soft transition to her base fur and to accommodate my signature expressive eyelids. Stippled pigmentation on her muzzle, inner ears and paws help blend the lovely silvery colors in her richly ornate rhinestone collar and crown fashioned from many pieces of jewelry and doubling tiaras with additional medallions wired together. Primavera

This fluffy cotton candy colored sheep is made from long ripply Tibetan lamb pelt and short matching mohair. It is 16" wide from nose to rump and 17" tall. This is my first sheep as I usually lambs, but this super long fur suggested it. She has custom painted blue taxidermy glass eyes with elaborate eyelids/needlefelting and extensive needle- and scissor-sculpting for realism. An internal thick electrical wire armature allows her to stand on her own and I sculpted Apoxie resin clay cloven hooves. Since she has a tail she'll come with a heart hangtag instead of tush tag and Certificate of Authenticity. Layaway available, see details at bottom of page.

Yosemite

Yosemite is a hefty 24" bear made from a thick winter white mohair. He has matching 100% wool felt paw pads with pulled toes and shading. I also pigmented parts of his face and inner ears to match his lovely deep amber eyes with elaborately layered eyelids that give him a curious and innocent expression as if he wants to tell you something. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyfil and weighted. He wears a vintage winter scarf that brings out his warmer tones.  He has a tush tag and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Wessex - Burgundy Mohair Bear

Wessex

Wessex is 24" tall and made from a dense distressed burgundy mohair. I trimmed his muzzle short so I could add paler coloration for depth. He has special mauve glass eyes with striated irises and elaborate eyelids. His matching leather paw pads have sculpted pulled toes with shading. Accessorized like a medieval character, I crafted him a matching cap complete with lush coordinating trims and feathers and he has a harlequin style ruff with a velvet ruff below complete with tassels and a vest. He has rare earth magnets in his paws to hold his court jester wand or to clasp his hands together.  He comes with a tush tag and a Certificate of Authenticity. Tanzania - Golden Mohair and Tibetan Lamb Lion

 Tanzania - my last golden lion

Meet Tanzania who is 22" wide from nose to rear leg and 15" tall to top of head. He is made from a tawny gold mohair, both short for his body and longer curly fur for his belly. His mane is a Tibetan lamb pelt that I spritzed with hair oil/water to tame and braided for nice ripples. He has elaborate thick wire armature inside so he can stand on his own and is entirely hand sewn. I needle-felted the paler parts of his eyes and muzzle and sculpted his resin clay nose for realism. I coat these noses with satiny clear varnish for durability. He piercing glass eyes have elaborate eyelids. After having made many golden lions in my career, Tanzania will be my last. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyfil and has a tush tag and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Layaway available, see below for details.
